18th Hole

Centre and left of centre drives will be rewarded, as this is the best angle of attack into the final hole. Missing the green right makes a par all the tougher. A deep greenside bunker takes care of any approaches pulled left.

17th Hole

An accurate tee shot is required as mature trees to the left can take yards off the drive. Avoid the lateral red penalty area to the right of the fairway. Shot 2 from the fairway is greeted by a receptive back-to-front sloped green. Over clubbing should be avoided as the course boundary is very close to the back of the green.

16th Hole

Missing this green left will most likely yield a bogey or worse, as the green slopes down and away. Favor short and right (or pin high) to open up a straightforward chip, but be aware of the unwelcome 3-putt.

15th Hole

A long dogleg left with internal OOB running along the left until the 150m mark. The recent addition of a well-positioned pond in front of the green leaves golfers with the dilemma of carrying the water into the prevailing wind or laying up and pitching over the trap.

14th Hole

This fantastic hole features an extensively redesigned island green challenge. The smart play ignores the pin position, playing in the direction of the centrally placed walkway behind.

13th Hole

A fun hole with OOB right (for safety reasons) and a conservation area on the dogleg. A well-struck drive is very important. Taking too much off the dogleg can lead to large mature evergreens blocking the ball. Landing within the “No entry” conservation area results in a 2-shot penalty.

12th Hole

Straight up a gentle slope on a well laid out and pretty golf hole. Avoid the run of trees on the right, distance control is important to this blind green.

11th Hole

A very strong hole, straight drives are rewarded with the fairway sloping slightly downhill for extra run. Second shots need to avoid a large picturesque water feature to the right of the green.

10th Hole

Approaches to the green need to avoid two small pot bunkers. Shots past the green can end up OOB, so don’t over club.

Enjoy more excellent views from this tee, best to land straight or slightly right. Tee shots too far left can reach high meadow grass.
