Welcome to the Butter Mountain Golf Club and wishing all members a safe, healthy and an enjoyable Golf season 2023.
We welcome our new Captain Gerry Perry who will announce shortly the date of his Captains drive in at the club.
I would like to mention a special thanks to the dedicated committee who are doing all the leg work to ensure that you have a club that is organised and running smoothly. Next week we will meet to arrange the program of golf events at the club for the season and the Inter club competitions that we will entering.
This year promises to be exciting as the course owners are continuing to invest and development in the course and facilities at the club. I would like to congratulate them on the vast improvements that we have seen at the club to date. Our yearly golf subscription of € 575.00 is very attractive and hopefully we will retain all members and encourage new members, ladies and Juveniles to join our club.
I am truly honoured to be President of our club this year and will assist our captain in any way possible to ensure everyone has an enjoyable experience playing their round of golf and leaving whatever woes outside the gate !.
To me, as a member since the 90’s, the Butter Mountain Golf & Leisure club is not just a place to play golf. It has a remarkable uniqueness, where I continue to make friends and have met many good friends that has extended beyond golf and continue to meet wonderful people. All I have to do now is learn how to play better golf.
Someone once said to me, Golf is a compromise between what your ego wants you to do, what experience tells you to do, and what your nerves will let you do.
